Ultrasonic Clamp on Flow Meters

This is an external flow measurement method. No need to damage the existing pipe line to install the clamp on ultrasonic flow meter. Ultrasonic clamp on meter also can be used for temporary measurement of flow rate. As these are external type meters, once the measurement is taken flow meters can be simply remove without shut down the flow in pipes. 

One external type flow meter can be used for different sizes of pipe line sizes. When flow rates measurements are required in processes like energy audits, internal pipe line leakage finding these flow meters are commonly used. 

But the accuracy of these flow meter is relatively less compared to fixed type flow meters. And it is essential to define correct process details in order to get optimum measurement.
