Vortex Flow Meters
Vortex technology is one of the highest quality technologies of measuring flow through a pipe line. A baffle is place in the flow tube in order to create vertices.
The frequency of generating vertices is used to calculate the flow rate. The flow should be turbulent in order to make vertices. Hence there is a minimum flow rate requirement to used vortex flow meters.
